This is one layer, not five
KairosBias's G8 currency scores blend five independent sources: price structure, momentum, interest rates, seasonality and COT positioning. These markets get positioning only, because no free, clearly-licensed DAILY PRICE feed exists for gold, silver, the other metals, or the major equity indices - every option was checked and rejected on licensing grounds, not effort. So there is no composite score, no bias label and no confidence rating here: those describe a 5-source blend this board does not have. What follows is exactly what CFTC reports each Friday - net speculative positioning, how it moved this week, and how extreme it is relative to the market's own past year - read plainly, without pretending it is more than one input.
“vs own history” is a z-score against each market's trailing 52 weeks, passed through the same bounded transform as the FX product's COT layer, so a reading here is visually comparable to one there - it is not a claim that gold and the VIX share a distribution. EXTREME means at least 2 standard deviations from that market's own one-year average.
